We used to sell Walnut Hollow single-temperature burners until they started

Why use a solid

Solid tip
woodburners have been used by pyrographic artists around the globe for many years.
There are many famous pyrographic
artists who use only a solid tip burner with remarkable results. Artists such
as Lynda Eaves
and Dino Muradian are perfect examples of pyrographic artists who have perfected the art
using a solid tip burner.
There are advantages
and disadvantages to a single temperature solid tip burner. One of the advantages
of a solid tip woodburning tool is that you can burn deep, dark areas quickly.
Of course one of the disadvantages is that it takes longer to heat up and cool
down making it more difficult to control and time consuming waiting to change
tips.

We carry the 30 Watt
Professional tool because it provides more heat (1060o) than the lower wattage
woodburners. The 15 watt woodburning tool is intended for children and 25 watt burners are intended for
hobby/craft use. The higher wattage model is intended for woodworkers and
provides better performance for the professional pyrographic artist.
Wall Lenk's 25 watt heat
transfer tool is the perfect tool for woodburners, woodcarvers and scroll saw
enthusiasts. It makes the process of transferring a pattern to the wood a
quick and easy process. Use with patterns printed from a photo copy
machine or laser printer. The heat transfer tool does not work with
ink-jet printers. The 25 watt transfer tool accommodates all Wall Lenk
interchangeable tips and therefore can be used as a woodburning tool.
The maximum temperature on this tool is 950o F.
