TRANSFER PAPER is perfect for woodburning carving, scroll saw and other woodcraft projects.  It is wax-free so it is easy to use and erase.  It is made for general and specialized use, which allows you to transfer your design from a sketch, pattern, template or free hand to any surface.  It makes clean, crisp tracings that can be erased, painted over and burned on.  It's great for tole painting, fabric painting, fine arts, watercolor painting, quilting, dress making, commercial and graphic arts, architecture, woodburning, woodcarving, ceramics, stained glass, metal working and it's acid-free for scrap booking.

Unlike traditional carbon paper, that is wax-based, graphite TRANSFER PAPER is safe, non-toxic and safe for use with woodburning.  

TRANSFER PAPER can be reused over and over again so it is very economical to use.

We do not recommend the use of carbon paper for woodburning for several reasons: it is not safe to burn over the paraffin-based wax, it is almost impossible to remove the lines and black lines showing through your "brown" burning detracts from beauty of the art work. 

Graphite: The all-purpose tracing medium for transferring patterns to light colored surfaces such as wood, paper and other materials. Excellent for illustration board and all drawing papers, wood, fabrics, canvas and metal.

White: For tracings on dark surfaces. Excellent on dark fabrics, dark wood, metal, as well as dark painting surfaces. Tole painters and chip carvers will find white especially useful.

Shipping Information

We try to ship all orders out within 24 - 48 hours.  If we are at a show, we can usually ship most orders within a few days.  If there will be a delay in shipping we will let you know.  Shipping charges are calculated upon checkout. Woodburners and most orders are shipped FedEx Ground, please ensure you provide a physical address.  Smaller orders (such as pens and books) are shipped via USPS.

International orders

If you life outside the USA please contact us directly to order.  We will try to assist you with processing your order in the most economical way.  Orders will normally be shipped by the USPS global mail.  If you wish to have the ability to have tracking for your order we can ship by Express mail.  Please email us your order and we will give you a price quote on your order.

Our back order policy

We try to keep our inventory well stocked, but it is not always possible.  When we are low on an item we will post a notice on our website to contact us before ordering. If an item is out of stock we will post a notice as to when it might be available.  We do not ship backorders separate. If you have ordered an item that is out of stock we will make an attempt to contact you to see if you wish to wait until the item is received, accept a substitute or cancel the order.  If we are unable to contact you within 24 hours your order will ship with the items we do have in stock.

Use TRANSFER PAPER like carbon paper or any tracing paper to transfer, trace a design or sketch to another surface-any kind of paper, wood, glass, acetate, metal, cloth-anything.  The all purpose graphite is easily erased and does not smear it is perfect for carving, woodburning, and all purpose work.  All sheets may be used several times to render crisp tracings. It is available in an economy-sized roll that is 12-1/2 inches by 12 foot.  You can also get it in 5 packs of individual sheets.
