Razertip Burning Pens
We recommend and
primarily sell fixed-tip pens, which are recommended
for general pyrography use. Interchangeable-tips are normally recommended
for only intermittent light use.
The Razertip
fixed-tip pens are one of the most comfortable pens you will find and they
don't burn your fingers. Developed by the same man who developed the
Optima pens many years ago. They are the
thinnest pens and finest tips available with pre-sharpened and highly polished
nichrome tips, ready to go right out of the package. Shorter length tips allow you
to get closer to your work and have more control. The
foam pen grips are soft and comfortable and no scorched fingers.

Standard and Heavy-Duty
(HD)
fixed-tip pens are now vented. The HD now come with a larger foam grip built for maximum durability
and comfort. They incorporate heavier
connector posts and a heavier, tougher wire. HD pens require a higher heat
setting than most standard pens and they can get warmer on the fingers
than standard pens. They are ideal for applications where the flat side of
the tip is used (shading, quill-making, etc).
We list some of the uses for each pen, but please feel free to
experiment. Their use is only limited by your imagination
Pen Cords
The Razertip SK burners we sell are
packaged with the 16 gauge heavy duty cords (red plugs). The HD cords are able to draw more amps and have been made
even more flexible than before. With over ten times the stranding of any
other pen cord on the market, the newest HD cords are 16 gauge are so flexible
and kink free, you'll never be satisfied with anything else. Our dual
output burners (SS-D10) now come with one HD cord and one detail cord.
Power Control
Unit
Razertip's
10 amp output Electronic power unit gives precision temperature control, with a
very wide range of heat with one of the fastest tip-heat recovery in the
industry. It is especially good at holding steady temperatures at the
cooler settings, where some other burners go from too cold to "too hot", with no
control in between. The ultra stable control circuitry maintains
consistent burns even when turned on-and-off-and-on again. The power unit
is the only safety certified hot-wire pyrographic tool on the market. Of
all the burners we have tried and worked with in our classes, this burner has,
by far the most stable heat control that does not fluctuate.
Razertip's Unconditional Warranty
Unlike any other woodburner Razertip offers this warranty: If any
Razertip product fails to
operate properly for any reason during its warranty period, Razertip Industries,
Inc. will, at Razertip's discretion, repair or replace the product at no cost to
the consumer, provided the product is returned prepaid to Razertip Industries
Inc. Warranty periods (from consumer's original date of purchase) are:
Power Supplies (SK, SS-D):
Three (3) years
Standard & Heavy-duty Pens (includes fixed tips): One (1) year
Interchangeable
Tips: Ninety (90) days
Cords and other

The best part is that after the
warranty on the pens expire, you can still get the pens fixed or replaced.
Just return your pen to Razertip with $5.00 (includes shipping) and your tip
will be replaced...no questions asked! Be sure when you send it back to
them that you send it postage paid and be sure to mark that the contents is

We carry the most popular pens made by Razertip but there are many more pen and tip styles available.
If there is a pen or tip style you want and we do not carry it we would be happy

On special orders we can either
have them drop shipped from the factory separately from your order for an
additional shipping charge or we will ship the entire order when the special
order comes in without any additional charges.
Don't forget to buy something to clean your tips!
We carry the Razertip tip
cleaner, which are located on the at the bottom of the page. Also available to clean your
pens are aluminum oxide powder and the hone strop that also can be found on
the at the bottom of the page. These are great tools for cleaning the carbon off the tips and
polishing without damaging the tips. It will preserve the life of your
tips with proper use. Our kits offer you both options.
Shipping Information
We try to ship all
orders out within 24 - 48 hours. If we are at a show, we can usually ship most
orders within a few days. If there will be a delay in shipping we will let
you know. Shipping charges are calculated upon checkout. Woodburners
and most orders are
shipped FedEx Ground, please ensure you provide a physical address.
Smaller orders (such as pens and books) are shipped via USPS.
International orders
If you life outside the USA
please contact us directly to order. We will try to assist you with
processing your order in the most economical way. Orders will normally be
shipped by the USPS global mail. If you wish to have the ability to have
tracking for your order we can ship by Express mail. Please email us your
order and we will give you a price quote on your order.

Our back order
policy
We try to keep our
inventory well stocked, but it is not always possible. When we are low on
an item we will post a notice on our website to contact us before ordering. If
an item is out of stock we will post a notice as to when it might be available.
We do not ship backorders separate. If you have ordered an item that is out of
stock we will make an attempt to contact you to see if you wish to wait until
the item is received, accept a substitute or cancel the order. If we are
unable to contact you within 24 hours your order will ship with the items we do
have in stock.

Our economic stimulus...we have
just reduced the prices on Razertip woodburners and pens. Prices are
effective as of 8/17/08 and are not retroactive to orders placed prior to that

We sell woodburning tools and accessories and that is all we do. We have
been selling Razertip woodburners, pens and accessories for over 6 years and
have always offered our customers discounted prices and will continue to do so. We will not, however price match ebay or other
dealers who sell at lower prices.
