Most of the burnings on this page are what I consider my "whimsical stuff"...things that are just fun to do!  Since most of my work is somewhat serious and fairly detailed there are times when I just need to let my hair down and have some fun.  The works here are what I do when I get in one of those moods!

Outhouse Collection

Nedra started doing outhouses many years ago while living in Texas. When she was still doing volunteer work at a local nursing home one of the ladies Nedra visited regularly wanted to see her work so she brought in her portfolio.  Mrs. T started looking at the outhouses and started laughing.  She said, "Nedra, you know I grew up with outhouses and don't you know that outhouses weren't painted".  Nedra replied, well, these have been remodeled and Mrs. T burst out laughing.

Wooden Spoons

Nedra has been creating decorative wooden spoons for many years, they are cute, fun to do and people just love them.  They are great, inexpensive gifts for co-workers, grab backs, gift exchange.  Below are a sampling of some of the spoons Nedra has created.

The material of the spoons varies from plain white wood, basswood to beech wood.  If there is a design you would like and don't see it here, please contact Nedra  with your idea.  These spoons are normally are finished with a "non" food-grade polyacrylic finish. If you wish to have a spoon made and finished with a food-grade finish please let us know when ordering.
